EDITORIAL POLICY FOR QUARTERLY JOURNALS

 

DIALOGUE AND CHINTAN-SRIJAN

 

Astha Bharati looks back with pride and satisfaction on bringing out its quarterlies Dialogue (English) and Chintan-Srijan (Hindi) for the last 20 years and 16 years respectively. Besides maintaining high academic standards its publications have been on time. To a large extent publication policy followed by us has been responsible for it. It is reflected in UGC recognising both the journals in its social sciences and Arts and humanities categories

 

                                                          

 

 

Our Broad Editorial policy is as follows:

Instructions to Authors/Reviewers

 

(1)   Length of articles in the journal depending on the subject is 3000 to 5000 words. For reviews limit is 1500 words

(2)   Authors are requested to provide end notes for referencing. Foot notes are accepted as an exception.

(3)   The journal as a policy publishes corrigendum and retractions in the next issue.

(4)   As a general policy in academic interest we permit reproduction of our articles or part of it with due permission and reference of its origin.

(5)   Every author is required to give a disclaim disclaimer that given article has not been published earlier and not submitted to any other journal.

 

 

 

ETHICS POLICY

 

The journal follows a clear ETHICAL norms in its publications viz:

(1)   We sincerely respect authors right to freedom for expression but it has to be scholarship based, balanced and constructive.

(2)   We do not publish articles which are negative and destructive in approach and betray bias and prejudice.

(3)   We discourage plagiarism in any form, and authors must reference the source. We check on social sciences citation indexes for similar matter.
